hi. we have our documents submitted for fiance visa in Belgium embassy in Manila first week of oct. and interviewed again first week of dec. we're wondering what is the average processing time for this visa type..we are hoping to get married before our marriage declaration expires feb 10..does anyone here wants to share their experiences re fiance visa? thanks and happy new year!

First of all, i don't have so much knowledge about the Cohabitation, but what i have read Cohabitation Visa is for those couple who wish to be together ( living in) without married, so if you don't wish to get married, apply for Cohabitation but if you wish to get married to the man you love like us then better apply for Fiancee Visa.. :-) I just wanted to share my little knowledge for as what i have learned here on this Forum who started by our very own ZD PARDO Together with the other two member of TRIO TAGAPAYO, best thing is to help each other, for we only have one Goal, to be with our love ones.. :-) Hope my simple knowledge makes sense.. :-) Good luck and God bless

Hi Nutty, Oh wow, it will be soon.. You will be joining your Fiancee for a life time. I would like to congratulate you again for the success of your application. :-) oh i see, you have a 13 months relationship with your fiancee right? Sounds great, i think its a big help that your fiancee visited you for quite sometime. Me and my boyfriend will have a 12 months relationship on October this year and were planning to apply Fiancee Visa by next year. He just visited me once and i supposed to visit him last June but my Visit Visa got denied. We just talk from the other night and we will try again for Visit application. If it won't succeed , he will going to visit me here instead.. :-) I hope by next year it would be our lucky year to be with each other forever.. Hi Sharon, I havent left my country yet. I'm flying on 10th July (super excited!) When I applied for my last visa, my fiance had already visited me in my country 4 times. After my application, he visited me one more time and we planned one more holiday. And when I got call from consulate that I had to go for a detailed interview; I explained them that we have 2 more dates after my application. I was asked to bring reservation prints and tickets of these 2 dates; and I gave them on interview day :)

How are you? Are you in Belgium now? I forgot to ask you some few questions, i hope you don't mind.. Can i ask if how many times did your Fiancee visited, i mean before you applied for fiancee visa? Correct me if i'm wrong, you said you have 13 months in relationship when you applied for Fiancee Visa? I am curious and would like to know about this things for me and my boyfriend were planning to apply for Fiancee visa by next year.. I know your busy right now but i am hoping that you could sen me a immediate response regarding this matter, Thank you so much!!! :-)

Cohabitation vs fiance visa

Hi, I'm new here in justlanded and I'm so thankful to find people in similar situation like me. For those who decided application for cohabitation visa instead of fiance visa, can you tell me why cohabitation? Why not fiance? What advantages are you experiencing under cohabitation visa now that you live in be?
I read a comment of one member say "Cohabitation visa is much better than fiancee if you will only be approved." so I curious. My bf is asking me what I want so I am checking before I decide and I hope you can help provide me more information.. thanks a lot!

Thanks Sharon, the idea that I will be with my beloved worths all. This was my third application, I have got two rejections before. Keep up the good work, go for it! :)

Congratulations nutty, Wish you all the best.. After the hard works you will be able to get your Visa,.. Its all worth it, I hope i will got mine one day.. My Visit application got Refused last June 11, and were preparing to appeal i hope thing will just turn just fine.. :-)
