Hi guys,
I moved to Antwerp in November 2015 and am wanting to connect with any fellow Brits or anyone for that matter!
Im also currently looking for work and seem to be hitting a brick wall as I only speak English and currently learning Dutch.
Any advise someone may have would be great!

Hey Rita
I have had no luck at all and have been here almost 5 months now. I think without speaking either French or Dutch it will be difficult. You may be able to get bar work or work in a restaurant but this isn't for me so I haven't tried that avenue,
I am actually planing to leave now and go overseas.

Hii Alex,
I also moved to Belgium recently and I'm living in Ghent for now.
I'm portuguese and also speak english fluently. Nevertheless, I'm having trouble with finding a job for the same reason you mentioned (I lack dutch and/or french language proficiency).
Have you had any luck with that? Have you got any advice on that matter?
