timeline for fiancee visa?

hi. we have our documents submitted for fiance visa in Belgium embassy in Manila first week of oct. and interviewed again first week of dec. we're wondering what is the average processing time for this visa type..we are hoping to get married before our marriage declaration expires feb 10..does anyone here wants to share their experiences re fiance visa? thanks and happy new year!

    Yes it was also indicated in the Letter of Invitation for me that all expenses will be shouldered by our sponsor for the duration of our travel..Hope for the positive result soon!Goodluck for all those waiting for the result..God bless us all.

    Yes upon visa approval i have to email our flight confirmation(back and forth) to the embassy!Thanks Ton for sharing those info..

    Yes, what we did is he write a letter of invitation stating that he will finance all the expenses during my stay, buy ticket and travel insurance once the visa is approved and and he also include that it;s his responsibility for my return in Philippines, and he legalized the paper. And i hope that will help for the approval....

    The inviting party must meet the conditions I stated, and declare that the visitor will stay on his costs. You have to show , after the visa is granted, you have a return ticket and healthinsurance.

    I have applied for a visit visa to a friend too 23rd of July this year. The purpose of the sponsor is to shoulder/guaranty for our expenses during our stay in Belgium, in which we can't prove on our own financial solvency. I think we just need to present a Bank Certication and print outs for Bank Statements (where it shows that our Bank Account is Active and with transactions in it). Actually, i applied for a 21-day vacation in Belgium. I'm just waiting for the result to come out soon!

    Thanks. But the visa I applied for is Visit-a-Friend which all of the expenses will be shoulder by the inviting person which is my boyfriend. I wish it will be approved this time.

    Hi Lambert; price of the ticket[return] and 35€per day of stay.And a medical insurance covered for 30.000 € medical costs

    @ Christina; diplomatic bag goes once a week, it is holiday time and Belgian authorities are not that fast.You can call DVZ and ask for the status.Gods Speed....

    Hi Lambert as I know for a tourist visa since I am looking also for some information about it more info I gathered that the tourist applicant can present 500K to 1M in the passbook then it should be used after 6 mos. and more papers work I can't prove yet on it but that is what I have gather to whom who travel
    also.
